The West Wing at Ickworth
Ickworth House is a historic Grade I listed building created in 1795 by the 4th Earl of Bristol. Nestling in 1,800 acres of spectacular gardens and wooded parkland designed in part by 'Capability' Brown, it provides a beautiful setting for your event.
The West Wing at Ickworth House was never finished and laid empty until 2006, when a joint partnership between the National Trust and Sodexo Prestige led to its renovation and opening as a centre for conferences and events. The first wedding in the property's history took place in 2006.
Today, the West Wing contains visitor, conference, banqueting and wedding facilities, while the East Wing is now The Ickworth Hotel. We are proud to be the winners of the Outstanding Customer Service at Anglian Business Awards (2007), and Sodexo Service Excellence at Star Awards (2008).
The West Wing comprises of the Gallery with the stunning views over the estate, ideal for up to 220 guests for a conference or dinner, the more intimate Court for smaller functions or meetings for 60 people; and the Engine Room for 40-50 delegates. The Restaurant and the adjacent Orangery can be also hired for special occasions and receptions.
